About TalkPair Connect

TalkPair Connect is a language exchange: two people, two languages, one timer. You bring the language you speak, your partner brings the one you're learning, and for the length of a session you trade — each of you is the other's teacher and student at once.

Why a trade, not a course

Vocabulary apps teach words. A real conversation teaches you which words a person actually reaches for, how fast they say them, and what happens when you get it wrong and have to try again. That only comes from talking to someone, so that's the entire product: find a partner, agree on a length, talk.

How it works

• Pick the language you speak and the one you're practising, your level, a topic, and a session length of 5 to 30 minutes.
• We look for someone whose pair mirrors yours — they're learning what you speak, and speak what you're learning.
• Talk over text or voice. Built-in tools can suggest a topic, a question, or a correction if the conversation stalls.
• When the timer ends, rate the session and find another partner whenever you're ready.

Free, paid for by ads
